Asset Management ProjectsHydro One Brampton Networks Inc. ("Hydro One Brampton"), is continuously working to provide a safe and reliable distribution infrastructure to service the needs of our customers. Our efforts focus on proactive infrastructure replacement to mitigate the impact of equipment failure or breakdown. Our techniques range from conventional to state-of-the-art. We also perform various maintenance and inspection activities to ensure our facilities are functioning as expected.
The 2012 infrastructure replacement program includes the following projects:
High voltage "bulk" power cables will be replaced on the following streets:
The areas included in the 2012 program are in City grid K3. They are loosely bounded by North Park Drive to the north, Bramalea Road to the west, Central Park Drive to the south, and Torbram Road to the east.
The 2012 program includes a complete system rebuild involving the following streets:
The underground utility chamber located on the south side of Queen St, approximately 30 meters east of Main St, will undergo a roof and upper support beam reconstruction.
