has an immediate opening for a

VICE-PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING AND OPERATIONS

Reporting directly to the President & C.E.O., you will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the Engineering and Operations team to ensure the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the distribution system, while meeting all technical, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the financial guidelines set out by Hydro One Brampton's Board of Directors.

A sense of vision coupled with strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and an ability motivate demonstrates your effectiveness as a leader. You act as a resource and coach to develop staff to their fullest potential through long-term learning and career development. You demonstrate excellent analytical and collaborative decision-making skills and have proven outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

You will have a minimum of 10 years senior level leadership experience with an Electrical Engineering degree and will be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in the Province of Ontario. You must also have extensive knowledge and experience in the electric utility sector. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) would be an asset.
