The Delivery portion of your bill includes:

Distribution charge- Covers the costs of delivering electricity from generating stations to Hydro One
Brampton and then to your home.

Transmission charge- Covers the cost of building and maintaining Ontario's transmission and distribution
equipment.

Monthly Service Charge- Covers Hydro One Brampton's administrative costs, such as meter reading, billing and
maintenance of accounts. This is a fixed cost that may vary from utility to utility, and does not change with the amount of electricity
used.
