Health, Safety and Environment PoliciesThe most important elements of Hydro One Brampton's Health, Safety and Environment policies (HSE) management system are its policies. The policies set out Hydro One Brampton values and commitments to health, safety and the environment. They also specify important principles which must be followed by all employees as they go about carrying out their activities - from planning, to construction and operation. Hydro One Brampton HSE policies are endorsed by the Board of Directors and approved by the President and CEO. These policies apply to all employees and subsidiaries.Hydro One Employee Health and Safety Policy Hydro One believes health and safety is one of the keys to the success of the company. Healthy employees working safely are essential to the achievement of business goals. We will set health and safety objectives and targets, monitor our performance and implement programs to achieve continual improvement. Employee Health & Safety (Full Policy) Environmental Policy Hydro One considers environmental protection to be one of the keys to the success of the company. We will increase our competitiveness and maximize value to shareholders by making efficient use of resources, preventing pollution and reducing environmental impacts and liabilities to the extent that is reasonably achievable. We will set environmental objectives and targets, monitor our performance relative to expectations, and implement programs to achieve continual improvement.
