Hydro One Brampton Wins An Award for
Best Parade Entry from a Large Corporation!
It was "A Sesame Street Christmas" brought to Santa Claus Parade-goers by Hydro One Brampton and our employees.
Hydro One Brampton entered four vehicles in the Brampton Board of Trade's Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 19th,
including a plug-in Hybrid bucket truck, a tractor-trailer combination displaying a street scene from Sesame Street,
a Hybrid SUV, and the newest addition to our 'green' fleet, the Chevrolet Volt. All the great characters were present;
Bert and Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, the Count, Elmo and of course, Big Bird.
This award brings the total number of awards that Hydro One Brampton has won to fourteen since the parade became an evening event in 1995.
A big thank you goes out to our volunteers who put in many hours of their own time to create Hydro One Brampton's 2011 Santa Claus Parade entry!
