The Regulated Pricing Plan

Residential, Small Business and Designated Consumers

The Ontario Energy Board recently announced new electricity prices for the summer
months, from May 1, 2008 to October 31, 2009. Residential consumers under the
Regulated Pricing Plan (RPP) will pay 5.0 cents per kilowatt hour for the first 600
kilowatt hours used in one billing month, and 5.9 cents per kilowatt hour consumed
above the 600 kilowatt hour threshold in the same month.

These prices will also apply to non-residential consumers who are eligible for the RPP,
but their threshold will remain at 750 kilowatt hours per billing month throughout the year.
