ELECTRICITY RETROFIT INCENTIVE PROGRAM (ERIP)

The Ontario Power Authority in cooperation with Hydro One Brampton are assisting Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional and Agricultural customers to conserve energy.

The Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program appreciates that when a business is making choices between different equipment options, the desired choice is for the most efficient solution, but for financing reasons or timing reasons other choices may be made. We would like to influence the decision in favour of the most electricity efficient ones.

The Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program focuses on the areas of lighting, motors, heating and ventiliation and air conditioning (HVAC), and the overall electricity systems.

Timelines

This is a limited time offer and applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

  • Project application deadline is December 31, 2007.
  • Eligible projects must be completed prior to December 1, 2008.
