CDM Filings and Reports

The Conservation and Demand Management ("CDM") Code requires every electricity distributor to file an annual report with the Ontario Energy Board ("OEB") that shows the distributor's progress in meeting the 2011-2014 CDM Targets set out in its distribution license.

This 2011 Conservation and Demand Management Annual Report outlines Hydro One Brampton's CDM program activities carried out in 2011 and peak demand and energy savings achieved in 2011.

The Regulated Price Plan (RPP)

The Regulated Price Plan, which took effect April 1, 2005, was introduced by the OEB to provide stable electricity pricing, encourages conservation and ensures the price consumers pay for electricity better reflects the price paid to electricity generators.

Electricity prices are set by the OEB and are based on a forecast of the cost of electricity over 12 months. These prices will be reviewed by the OEB and may be adjusted every six months.

Consumers that are classified by the Ontario Energy Board as general service with a consumption of less than 250,000 kWh per year are eligible for the Regulated Price Plan. If you purchase electricity from an electricity retailer, the prices you pay will be different and will be stated in the contract you signed.

For information on RPP prices in effect, visit The Regulated Price Plan section of our website.
